After Assessment Thoughts And Feelings.

Finally, It's the end of everything. The assessment is finally over. For the past week, everyday was spent in school doing and rushing our projects. There was not enough time to eat nor sleep, as everyone was too busy to think about food or sleep, vice versa. Managed to catch the year 3 seniors graduation show on last friday. I was impressed and inspired. I love the works done by Bryan Tan, Kit, Alex, Mark and etc. The work done by Bryan was so controvesial that it caught my eye to go back to his booth to watch his video for a second and third time. After seeing their works, I do not know whether i want to major in AVP or animation. I like to do both of the subjects. Maybe i should make a decision soon.

On the other hand, today's assessment was great in the beginning but disappointing in the end. For the individual works, I was quite shock to hear good comments about my photography and animation, except a few stupid comments made by Terence Tan Chee Wah. He spoils the mood of everyone. Other then that, I want to thank Simon James for speaking up for me about the one photo which was dark. Upon leaving the room, I still heard their laughters and positive comments about my work which made me felt that I had done it!!

However, when it came to group work, all was a mess. To start things off, Alan and Chris, two of our main lecturers of our department, came in to view our works. One by one, all the groups were shot by questions, remarks, insults and better improvements the next time round. I already knew that my group work was going to be shot by the lecturers as well because we did not did a good job. Even Carol's group, who done so well, was shot by some of the lecturers. Felt sad for their group. Well, when we went up to present, all hell broke loose. My hardwork, my intro which I felt I had put alot of effort in, was not played to the lecturers because of a stupid technical mistake by you know who for those of my friends who happen to read my blog. And all the things which we told that guy not to put into our interactive cd but which he never listen to us but insisted on putting in was shot back the same by our lecturer. I was furious because he did not listened to us in the past but he listened to the lecturer today for every single word the lecturer said to him which was the same as what we told him last time. I MEAN COME ON... IS'NT IT TOO LATE NOW?? We got to touch up on our project and hand in next wednesday. ARE YOU HAPPY? And furthermore, we will not be showing our work to that guy from Bugis street. DAMN.


However, after some comments made by Bryan, I managed to cool down and we went for steamboat for dinner. I was in a totally different mood when we ate. I am tired right now so i think i will cut my entry short by saying we ate till we are full and we went to play pool for awhile then head for home. I hope for another outing like this because it brings us closer together. Thats all for today. =)
